We are seeking a Sr High Speed/Mixed Signal Board Designer for our Toronto
based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop high speed, mixed signal boards
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE.
- 5+ years of board hardware design experience
- Strong knowledge of high-speed mixed-signal multi-layer design
techniques.
- Understanding the trade-offs in design for products in volume
production.
- Motivated self-starter and strong team player, able to complete complex
board designs from specification through to production.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
DESIRABLE:
- Design experience in multi-phase DC-DC switching power supply.
- Knowledge of PC, CPU and 3D graphics architectures.
- knowledge/understanding on a variety of standards:
a)bus specifications (AGP, PCI Express), SSTL, DDR2, GDDR3, GDDR4, I2C
b)high-speed/digital interfaces (HDMI, TMDS, DVI and VESA)
c)video standards (Composite, S-Video and Component).
