We are seeking a Director of Sales - Semiconductor/Microelectronics
Industry, for our Toronto based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive and develop account sales of analog IC IP in North America and
Pacific Rim markets
- Coordinate worldwide sales strategies, accounts, as well as manage some
globally dispersed sales associates
- Develop sales plans, materials, attend trade shows, etc
QUALIFICATIONS:
- *Only local candidates already residing in the GTA will be considered
- BS in a technical discipline (preferably EE) or MBA with specific
semiconductor industry sales experience
- 10+ yrs of industry experience (5+ of which in a sales role) in high
tech/microelectronics industry (semiconductor industry strongly preferred)
- High initiative, results oriented and a strong technical aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%, internationally, primarily to such areas as
ASIA and California
DESIRABLE/ASSETS:
- BSEE
- Direct Semiconductor sales experience
- Previous Intellectual Property (IP) Sales, licensing experience
- Previous international sales experience (ASIA), with knowledge and
experience to sell effectively in different cultures
- Ability to communicate in other languages beyond English, such as
Mandarin, Japanese or Korean
