We are seeking a Jr or Sr Analog CAD Engineer for our Toronto based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and Build Analog/Mixed Signal CAD automation tools and scripts,
- Training users on tools, methods and flows
- Review foundry tech files/updates
- Understanding Analog and Digital flow, working with schematic macro
designers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE, CE, or CS
- Very good programming skills, (within a unix environment) using
languages such as Perl, Auk, c-shell, C, Makefile, TCL, Skill, and CGI.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinker, who understands big picture concepts and possesses
leader****p qualities, able to articulate/train common platform goals to
various depts
- Strong problem solving and verification skills
There are two positions.
For the first position :
- Experience with layout migration tools such as Sagantec, Cadence
Virtuoso (VLM), Synopsys Cadabra, or Prolific Progenesis is required
for the second position :
- MUST HAVE good knowledge/experience in performing P-cells, Spice
simulations, and/or Calibre DRC/LVS, Cadence PDK (or Mentor with good
knowledge of methodology)
DESIRABLE:
- Transistor schematic design and/or Layout experience
- Place & Route, and RTL design experience.
- Spice model card programming
- Experience in timing and functional modeling of component IP for the
benefit of a digital ASIC design flow.
- Experience with configuring Unix IT compute networks.
