JOB DESCRIPTION:
Large health care organization seeks an experienced leader to oversee
and plan for the collection, management, analysis, and delivery of a
world-class, comprehensive health care data set.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs the development and implementation of a comprehensive health
information plan in accordance with the broader organizational strategy.
REQUIREMENTS:
MS or PhD preferred in disciplines such as informatics, health,
computers, related.
Proven 8 to 12 year history leading business intelligence initiatives,
focusing on team building and talent acquisition,
and setting up effective BI and related data warehousing tooling.
In depth hands on knowledge of EHR, CPOE, and overall medical
information relate to each other electronically.
Able to engage the general public in online health information
technologies and information on disease prevention.
Strong strategizer, with effective ability to see your plans come to
fruition within the general context of a large organization, the goal of
which is to coordinate medical services and lead in disease detection,
cure, prevention.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Prefer a related health/ medical field background.
