Position: Senior N-Tier Developer
Opening(s): 1 Contract Position
Location: Lower Mainland, Vancouver, (BC)
Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience
Start Date: ASAP

Scope of work/responsibilities:

Our client, a recipient of BC's Top 40 Employers Award for 2008, is
currently seeking a Senior N-tier Developer to join their IT Development
Team. You will be responsible for developing new .Net and client server
applications. In addition, you will provide innovative sup****t and
training
to end users currently using VB6/VB.NET applications. This is a great
op****tunity to work with a well established client and to take part in all
phases of the software development lifecycle.

Required skills/qualifications:

To be considered, candidate must have an extensive background in
development
using the .Net framework in an N-tier environment, and have 5+ years of
SQL
Server experience. You will be proficient with JavaScript, DHTML and XML.
You must have the ability to resolve technical challenges, and be able to
identify optimal solutions to address existing applications errors.
Familiarity with DB2 on z/OS would be an asset.
