Scope of work/responsibilities:

We are seeking a Technical Sup****t Engineer to provide remote diagnostic
and 
technology sup****t and services to our client's customers.  Working in the

routing and communications protocol test domain, sup****ting high-end test 
products, you will offer on-line assistance for customers, troubleshoot 
problems and deliver customized technical solutions.  Other
responsibilities 
may include training, scripting, recommending test methods, guiding the 
technical sup****t approach of regional sup****t teams and bringing the 
customer perspective into product development.

Required skills/qualifications:

To be considered, candidates must have 3+ years of relevant technical 
product sup****t experience and have broad knowledge of organizations, 
products, markets, channels, processes and key customers. You must be 
customer-focused, results-driven and eager to maintain and grow your 
specialist product knowledge.  Our product tests protocols on routers, 
switches and firewalls and run on Windows OS; however, Linux/UNIX
knowledge 
is advantageous. Our product also sup****ts the major 
routing/switching/trans****t technologies such as: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, PPPoX,

IGMP, PIM, L2TP, DHCP, IPTV, SIP/VoIP, L2 and L3 VPNs, TCP, Ethernet, POS,

ATM, etc. Candidate must be able to debug very technical problems re****ted

via email primarily and demonstrate patience and superior sup****t skills 
when dealing with a broad client base.  Remote troubleshooting is a key 
requirement as is the ability to troubleshoot TCL scripts. A university 
degree, diploma, or equivalent with a focus on Telecommunications 
Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 
telecommunications studies is preferred.
