Position: IT Project Coordinator

Scope of work/responsibilities:
We have an exciting new opening for an IT Project Coordinator to assist
our
client in maintaining an organized and focused approach to all IT
projects.
Individual will be exposed to all facets of IT project analysis to
implementation. Specifically, candidate will: 1) provide administrative
sup****t which will involve set up and maintenance of content within
project
sites on ****tal, coordinating project meetings & resource needs, cost
tracking & purchasing coordination, communications assistance, issues &
risk
tracking, escalation and management, resource management, etc.; 2) review
all project plans for consistency in schedule and resource
inter-dependencies and maintain ****tfolio level information & produce
re****ts for project statuses, resource usage, risks and issues; 3)
escalate
risks & issues as appropriate to Project Managers and/or Director IT and
own
the centralized management, storage and archiving of all project related
do***entation; and 4) assist in the development and maintenance of new and
revised project templates and processes and provide sup****t to project
team
as needed.
Required skills/qualifications:
To be considered, candidate must have 2+ years of relevant project
coordination or administration experience, preferably within an IT
Department working on medium to large enterprise projects. Individual will
be proficient with Microsoft Office and MS Project. Experience with MS
Visio and SharePoint preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent
oral and written communication skills, ability to develop cooperative
working relation****ps; and effectiveness working on multiple projects at
different stages with multiple/competing demands concurrently and
effectively. We are seeking an individual who is highly organized and
detail
oriented (i.e. "on the ball") and is able to adapt to new ideas and
constant
changes fluidly.
