Position: Database Administrator

Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience

Scope of work/responsibilities:
We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our client's DBA Team.
Candidate will lead the design and implementation of database structures
and
components. Activities will also encompass assisting development teams
from
table design through SQL language tuning, database replication and
sup****ting database environments in test and production.
Required skills/qualifications:
To be considered, candidate must have 4+ years of DBA experience (SQL
Server, DB2, etc.). Individual will skilled in: 1) coding and tuning SQL
language for optimal efficiencies; 2) data replication; and 3)
transforming
business data models into implementable, tunable, sup****table physical
structures that satisfy business requirements. Candidate will have
excellent
oral and written communication, along with willingness/initiative to
identify op****tunities for improvement.
