Scope of work/responsibilities:
We are seeking a Java Application Specialist to join our client's
Application Sup****t Team. Candidate will enhance, maintain and sup****t a
number of cor****ate applications ranging from CRM, content management,
transactional systems, to accounting/audit systems. To be effective in
this
role, candidate must be able to wear a number of hats: 1) develop/enhance
Java applications using open-source framework and tools
(Spring/Hibernate/Apache) running on Linux/Windows; 2) troubleshoot and
sup****t applications in production; 3) assist internal and external
users/clients with application issues; and 4) coordinate activities with
system/network administrators & other IT resources to resolve outstanding
issues. This is an ideal role for individuals who enjoy interacting with
different business groups/users as well as application development. Key
focus is on application enhancement and sup****t requiring solid
communication and interpersonal skills (i.e. exhibiting patience and
providing clear & concise communication) and strong troubleshooting and
customer sup****t capabilities.
