Position: Java/EAI Developer

Scope of work/responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with J2EE enterprise application
development and integration experience using SOA and web services.
Candidate will analyze, design and develop web services to communicate
with
3rd party systems. Our client's main ERP systems are PeopleSoft HCM and
Financials with limited use of PeopleSoft ****tal running on Oracle/UNIX.
The initial contract will be 6 months with possible extension. Candidate
will: 1) have strong analysis skills working from abstract definitions; 2)
develop proof of concept work; and 3) implement an EAI solution suitable
for
our client's business needs and IT environment.
Required skills/qualifications:
To be considered for this challenging project work, candidate must have 5+
years of Java enterprise application development and integration
experience
utilizing SOA concepts and implementing web services. Candidate must be
able
to provide samples of past projects: approaches to designing/developing a
flexible, standardized architecture to better sup****t the integration of
various applications and the sharing of data (analysis of pros & cons),
identifying a solution that met the client's specific business and
technical
environment, and implementation of the proposed solution. The solution
intended will address questions regarding flexibility, uniformity,
minimizing redundancy, availability, ease of maintenance, etc.
