Scope of work/responsibilities:
We are seeking an Application Sup****t Analyst with experience sup****ting
and
maintaining RPG/AS400 systems. Candidate will join our client's growing IT
Team and be responsible for programming, enhancing, and modifying
AS400/RPG
applications as required and resolving customers' EDI/order issues. This
role will involve problem solving, troubleshooting, determining
appropriate
escalation, and assisting/training users on the use of EDI/AS400 systems
for
customer and supplier transactions exchange. Preference will be given to
candidates with RPG/AS400 development experience/background and patience
working with a diverse client base. This role would be a great fit for
individuals who enjoy working with and helping people, and do not want to
do
100% programming on a daily basis (ie. people prefer a variety of work).
NOTE: we will train the right candidate on the EDI components, usage, and
terminology.
