Position: Database Administrator

Scope of work/responsibilities:
We are seeking a Database Administrator to fill an immediate opening for
one
of our clients, a BC Top 40 Employer. This is an exciting 24 month
contract
where you will have the op****tunity to exercise your leader****p and
critical
thinking skills. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation
of database structures and components. Additionally, you will utilize your
DB2 V8 and SQL Server experience to assist development teams from table
design through SQL language tuning, database replications and sup****ting
database environments. To qualify for this role, you must have 5+ years of
DBA work experience on DB2 Z/OS and Microsoft SQL Server platforms. This
is
a great op****tunity for you to work within a diverse team environment and
demonstrate initiative to identify op****tunities for improvement.
